The inauguration party on Saturday was a complete success with 240 invited guests and bright sunshine. In his opening address, the Managing Director of the holding company, Michael Steuler, thanked all those involved for their good teamwork and expressed his delight at the large number of guests. Above all, his thanks went to the employees of the plastics technology business division for their patience during the construction phase, their resilience and loyalty to the company, and their support during the move.

Following this, Arne Pochert (Managing Director of STEULER-KCH GmbH) delighted the guests with a look behind the scenes. He thanked Michael Steuler and the shareholders of the Steuler Group for their courage in believing in the Westerwald region for over 100 years and for keeping its head office and investing here. With investment running into the millions, the family company is safeguarding jobs in the long term and ensuring the future sustainability of the region. Arne Pochert closed his speech by thanking the crews involved, the company management, as well as the plastics technology work preparation for their untiring commitment during the construction and relocation phase.

Whilst the guests chatted over coffee and cake, “Laugengebäck” pretzels and chilled drinks, the first tours through the production facility with expert guides got underway.

A professionally moderated presentation by the Mogendorf fire brigade and a spray wall for children brought variety to the afternoon, as did children’s face painting, with the latter kindly carried out by teachers from the Mogendorf kindergarten. The celebrations continued into the early evening, colleagues chatted and trades people strengthened their contacts.

For the inauguration, the construction company involved gifted a drone flight over the works site to the STEULER-KCH management.
