The Ceramitec, which took place at the Messe München exhibition center from June 21 to 24, 2022, once again presented itself as the international meeting place for the ceramic industry. For four days, more than 600 exhibitors from all over the world presented their complete range of products at the ceramic trade fair: Machinery, equipment, plants, processes, raw materials and refractory products. All sectors were represented, from classical ceramics and industrial ceramics to technical ceramics and powder metallurgy.

Last September, the Steuler business area Refractory Linings was already present at the Ceramitec Conference in Munich under the motto "Future. Together. Now.". This motto has now been transformed into a "Come. Together. Now.". After the long corona-related break, the anticipation for the trade fair was particularly high and the demand was also high. The main focus was on personal exchange and making new contacts.

Compared to previous years, there were fewer guests from overseas, but many European visitors. A striking feature was the large number of potential new customers from France and Italy. 73% of the visitors were interested in high-quality kiln furniture for technical ceramics. Artur Fuchs, Sales Director Ceramic Industry: "The boom in technical ceramics has just begun. The megatrends of decarbonization and electromobility are leading to a very dynamic increase in demand in this sector. Manufacturing in Germany and thus short supply chains, combined with high delivery reliability, have also gained in importance in these uncertain times.”

The Steuler booth was visually an absolute highlight and highly frequented at all times. The mood among exhibitors and visitors was positive and expectations were exceeded in every respect.
